Fun in the Fog

The air was dense with fog this morning, which provided some interesting focal points on the remaining plant life of the season. The trade-off, of course, is that the light was severely reduced...forcing me to pair 1/60 second shutter speeds with 2000 ISO to get a semi-reasonable depth of field on a number of my shots.

  1. You are so good with water and water droplets. And especially with getting great reflections in the drops. I love these!

  2. I wish I had the time to "putter" around and take nature photos like you! It sounds so relaxing. Your photos are really interesting - and they get more beautiful all the time! I love the spiderweb and the single leaf with the dark background... so cool!

  3. All very nice. "profile" leaf especially - like the sharp focus on all the forward/edge parts of the leaf, then fade focus on the top. nice contrast with background too.
