Freckle Face

I brought a bouquet of "Freckle Face" dahlias home from the festival. I used a reflector for these pictures, which I ended up holding myself while taking the photos, as my 3 year-old assistant proved unreliable, and I was too lazy to go back inside to get my tripod.

  1. These are so beautiful!! Seriously, great light. I'm jealous that you're coordinated enough to hold a reflector and take a picture at the same time. I would have dropped the reflector, the camera, or both!

  2. I was just going to suggest a reflector... but you got it! Looks great. I love the other dahlia photos too. Great creative use of color, DOF and form on a few of them!
